"When I moved to Massachusetts in 2002, I was unable to find a yoga studio that replicated the teaching style and atmosphere that I loved at the studio I attended in Los Angeles. I tried a few videos and gyms. Neither provided me with the relaxing environment and hands-on guidance from well-trained instructors that I had enjoyed on the West Coast. When I heard about Breathe Joy Yoga, I decided to give it a try. I just one class, I recognized that I had found the studio I loved in Los Angeles right in Sharon!

          To start, the studio is beautiful. It is relaxing and rejuvenating to practice yoga in an uncluttered space with nature all around you. 

          Secondly, Robyn teaches both the Hatha and PowerFlow classes in a way that respects the traditions of yoga and helps deepen your yoga practice.

            I am now a regular student at Breathe Joy. I love the flexibility of the punch card and the drop-in classes. When I don't go for a few days, I crave it. Practicing yoga has strengthened my core and provided me with great relief for the arthritis in my lower back. I have incorporated it into my fitness routine and consider it an important part of my spiritual and physical well-being. The sense of strength and well-being I achieve doing yoga is something I have not been able to achieve with regular cardio work and weight training.

 "I started going to Breathe Joy Yoga last fall and have enjoyed all the classes very much ever since. My family has experienced a deep loss this year and Robyn's studio is a place I can go to both relax and regain some of the strength, both mental and physical, that I have lost. I have practiced yoga at other studios and gyms in the past, but I feel that I am learning much more here than before as the teachers are all professional and give guided, concise direction. Although I have "worked out" for years, I am relatively new to yoga and the classes here can be quite challenging. Nonetheless, Breathe Joy instructors clearly combine the breath work with the flow movements, making classes accessible to all levels. Classes are ALWAYS varied and interesting. Never boring! During each class, I try to focus more and go deeper into the postures.         

          While Robyn is always challenging us with new postures and sequences, she is also continually studying different forms of yoga on her own. She enjoys sharing this knowledge with her students.  

          Another great thing about being part of the Breathe Joy Yoga community is participating in the wonderful workshops here with expert guest instructors. This allows students to broaden their knowledge and learn about different styles of yoga. 

          Overall, I think that Breathe Joy is a wonderful studio for students of all levels.The studio is quiet, immaculate and creates a soothing atmosphere with the candles and music.
