An Afternoon with David Vendetti: Experiential Anatomy, Flow and Fun!
Fun fact about David: He was voted Boston Magazine's Best Yoga Teacher 2011 and 2005!
When: Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012 from 1:30-5:30 pm
Cost: $50 if purchased by Feb. 11; $60 after that (SOLD OUT. Please call to be put on waitlist)

In this delicious adventure we will discover where and why we hold tension in the body. We will do this by flowing through practice while examining what muscles are working. All the while we will dig out some of the pockets of holding in the neck, shoulders, hips, low back and more. Our use of props will focus on liberating the breath and allowing for the fullest range of motion. With some work and dedication to practice, we'll discover and unlock freedom in the body and breath. Finally, we will close with a meditation about the emotions that can come up when we celebrate both our ability to ground, infinitely rise and find freedom of movement.

About David: "Yoga allows me to be who I am without struggle. To notice, breathe, remember and enjoy this body, this moment. I love returning to my yoga mat to play in the body awakening, breathe into a heart wide open and find gratitude for the infinite that I forgot was me." David's classes integrate a clear foundation in anatomy with intelligent alignment, hands on adjustments and ever evolving flows to heal the body. Students are encouraged to cultivate a deep passion for self examination, light hearted exploration and drop everything in order to find out that when we hold on to nothing, what is left, is all we truly need. David co-owns South Boston Yoga with his partner, Todd Skoglund. Breathe Joy Yoga is thrilled to welcome him back!!!
